Stressful situations

Hey everyone, I hope you had a great weekend.

I use to have someone in my life, who verbally attacked me everyday. Click here to read about my experience.

I was so stressed of going to my dad’s that day, that I actually threw up. (I don’t remember why I was so stressed.)

Background information: my mom and dad were divorced, and because of that I had to go back and forth between them.

I’ve had many stressful situations, but I think that was the first time that it had gotten that bad.

Many times when I was in school, (especially at my dad’s) I would be stressed because I didn’t study or do my homework. The reason I was so stressed was, because of that person who was verbally abusive.

Almost everything, that came out of that person’s mouth, was, you guessed it, a verbal attack.

They were a bully, so much so, that they were a tattletale. I mean, if they found out that I didn’t do my homework or study, they would literally go up to the teacher to tell on me.

So you can imagine that I was stressed on the way to school, because who wouldn’t be? Thankfully, I had my faith to help me cope; I would listen to a Christian radio station called: K-love.

I also came up with a saying: keep me strong, keep me wise, and keep me faithful in your eyes. That saying to me was a much needed prayer, through all those difficult and stressful situations.

Now that I’m in a better environment, I don’t have to worry about every little thing, because that person isn’t in my life anymore.

Please take my advice: if there’s someone in your life who is a bully, don’t wait to tell someone, because this a serious issue, and that goes for physically and emotionally abusive. And, once you’ve gotten away from them, it will eventually get better.

My thoughts and prayers goes out to all of you who are experiencing that – Speedy.

Stay positive, stay safe, and spread the gospel.

The Lord is my strength and my song; he has given me victory. This is my God, and I will praise him—  my father’s God, and I will exalt him! – Exodus 15:2
