“Finding Ohana”

Hey everyone welcome back to my blog. I don’t know about you, but I always look forward to Fridays.
Maybe it’s because the new Marvel TV show “WandaVision” adds a new episode every Friday on Disney plus,. What about you guys, do you look forward to Fridays, and if so why?
“Finding ‘Ohana” is a Netflix film, and it’s listed as “#7 in the U.S. today” on Netflix, came out in 2021, rated PG, great for family movie night.
After their father dies in Hawaii, Leilani a single mother (played by Kelly Hu) moves to Brooklyn New York, and raises two siblings: Pili played by Kea Peahu) and E/Ioane (played by Alex Aiono).
After their grandpa Kimo (played by Branscombe Richmond) has a medical problem, the family goes to Hawaii for the summer to help Kimo.
Pili finds an old journal that is supposed to lead to treasure. Her grandpa tells her that monks gave his ancestors the journal, and said he looked for the treasure but never found it.
While their there, the two siblings end up going on a wild treasure hunt. Along the way, the two of them to grow closer and connect with their Hawaiian heritage.
A surprise plot twist comes into play, (I have to say that I never saw that ending coming); it was a great way to end the treasure hunt and the movie. I absolutely loved it!
I highly recommend this movie if you like treasure hunts. It’s a mystery, action and adventure for the whole family. I rate this movie a 5 out 5.
Not sure what I’ll review next week, but if you have any recommendations for me, let me know in the comment section.
