Hey everyone, happy Friday.
Out of curiosity, how many shootings do you think happened just in the US today? I would love to hear your guesses.
So, I actually wrote this post around mid-afternoon, because of this, I’m not sure how many shootings followed after I wrote this.
I could’ve done the shootings from yesterday, but there are too many to list. If you think about that, it’s really sad and scary.
So far today, there have been 25 shootings in these states: Illinois, Texas, Indiana, Georgia,Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, Connecticut, and Florida.
The majority of these shootings happened in Illinois.
To be honest, everytime I watch the news, (which isn’t very often) there’s always some kind of shooting. For that reason, I’m afraid to even get out of the house.
I know I have nothing to be scared of though, because God is with me.
Today’s world is sooo violent, we need to do something about this. If spread kindness instead of hatred, maybe our world would be better off.
