Yesterday I was thinking about what I going to write for tonight’s post, and I thought I’d talk about sharing the gospel.
In today’s world, it can be hard to share our faith because like me I was afraid of what people would say. Now more than ever people need to hear that there is God, and he cares for us; but that’s easier said than done. I know this because I went through it, and trust me it’s no walk in the park.
A few months ago, I was posting daily Bible verses on a app called Mistplay. You wouldn’t believe how many people didn’t want anything to do with the Lord. So as children of the Lord, we need to shine our lights in this darkened world. Speak about your faith in public, pray for people, quote the Bible, and most importantly never stop preaching the gospel no matter what! You shouldn’t be afraid of anything.
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10
My prayer for our darkened world is that we as children of God shine our lights, and help guide people towards the lord.
