Writing Short Stories

Happy Friday. I know it’s been a couple of weeks since my last post. I would’ve posted this past Monday, but we got back early Sunday morning from our trip and I was too tired to post on Monday.

Before I started writing short stories I wrote songs. At that time, it was the way I expressed my feelings. But then, I stopped writing songs because I couldn’t finish them like I used to.

Then, a few years ago, there was a small short story competition. I wanted to give it shot, so I looked for some apps to help me come up with a story. I also researched how to write a short story, but in the end, neither of those options worked for me.

If it weren’t for that competition I don’t think that Falling for my Assistant – Part 1: Confession would’ve been written.

Although, I believe that if God wanted me to write short stories there would’ve been other opportunities had I chosen not to participate in that challenge.

You know it’s amazing how you grow and change over the years. I mean, writing songs was easy for me at one point and now writing short stories is what’s easy for me now.

I wrote part 2 of Falling for my Assistant, but I’m working on a different short story altogether. I have started part 3 of Falling for my Assistant.

Have a great weekend. Stay positive, stay safe, and spread the gospel.

The Lord is my strength and my song; he has given me victory. This is my God, and I will praise him—  my father’s God, and I will exalt him! – Exodus 15:2
