Happy Friday. Sorry for the late post.
This past week, I’ve read and heard a lot about what our daily lives reveal about us. I realized that God was telling me that I need to change my daily life habits.
What if someone was to observe what I do for a day? Would they see me growing my relationship with God or would they see me focusing on Earthly things? These are the questions that have made me stop for a moment and look at my life.
What I realized made me sad, because ultimately I spend my time playing games and watching TV, what would you say that says about me? Do you think people would see that I’m Christian because I don’t.
When I truly understood this, it made really sad because my faith is important to me yet I don’t show it in my daily life. Well, starting tomorrow that’s going to change.
Tomorrow, I’m going to start a 40 day challenge to help me get in the habit of spending more time with God and growing my relationship with Him.
This challenge will consist of reading a 40 day Bible plan, reading a whole chapter of the Bible, sharing the daily Bible verse, reading 1 or 2 chapters of a book, going outside for a short walk in my wheelchair, and giving up playing games because I’m kind of addicted.
This way people will see me taking the time to grow in my relationship with God.
What does your daily life look like?
Have a great weekend. Stay positive, stay safe, and spread the gospel.
