My Testimony

Happy Friday!

As Christians, we are supposed to spread the gospel and encourage people to accept Christ as Lord of all. But sometimes, in more cases than not, we should share our testimonies of hope.

So here’s my testimony:

I’ve known God for as long as I can remember. As someone who has been in some terrible situations where I wasn’t getting the right care my body needed, the only thing I did have was hope. Hope of a better situation; I counted on my faith in those terrible moments, because without the promise of hope that God gives, I probably wouldn’t be here.

During that time, Jeremiah 29:11 was the verse that I counted on the most. I also listened to Christian radio stations.

Thankfully, I was able to join a youth group that welcomed me with open arms. Thanks to them, I was able to feel like a normal kid, well as close to normal as I could get anyway.

Once a week, I could leave the stress and anxiety behind for a couple of hours and just have fun while learning more about God.

Eventually, I decided that I wanted to be baptized by that church.

When things were difficult I knew that I could always count on God.

What’s your testimony?

Have a great weekend. Stay positive, stay safe, and spread the gospel.

The Lord is my strength and my song; he has given me victory. This is my God, and I will praise him—  my father’s God, and I will exalt him! – Exodus 15:2
