Happy Friday! Though it feels like Saturday to me, anyone else?
Someone I know has a child that is suicidal, thankfully we prayed for them, and they seem to doing better.
A lot people suffer from this, which is why we – as children of God- need to be there for them. We have the greatest hope that there is, and we need to share it with those who don’t have hope.
I was doing my Bible study homework when I came upon this question: “What need do you face today that only Jesus can satisfy?” I realized that only God can solve/satisfy some of our deepest needs.
When it comes to depression or suicidal thoughts there’s only so much we do for them. We also have to do our part to make sure that they know God, and that they know that they are loved and cared about.
In today’s world, there’s no God, “there’s me and what I want to do,” there’s also people who believe they are god, and finally there’s people who worship people and or objects of this world. I mean, no wonder why there’s so many people who are hurting.
Because they don’t know God and His everlasting love for His people, this is how the world is going to be a place without hope, unless we as children of God give people the greatest news of all: we are saved!
If we choose to be the light in this terrible darkness, than maybe we can make the world a little brighter.
Have a great weekend. Stay positive, stay safe, and spread the gospel.
The Lord is my strength and my song; he has given me victory. This is my God, and I will praise him— my father’s God, and I will exalt him! – Exodus 15:2
