By the time you read this, I’ll be at a Christmas party.
On Saturday evening, I wanted to find some houses with Christmas lights. I found one that was located out in the country, and boy was it different from being in the city!
By the time I found the house, it was completely dark. Although, driving to that house was a waste of gas and time. Being away from all the lights and stress of the city, and being able to see the shy and stars clearly gave me a sense of peace.
On my way back, I noticed that one part of the shy was lit up, it was because the city lights were so bright.
But driving through the country at night it filled me with peace, and I didn’t have anything to worry about.
As soon as I got back, that peace kind of faded away.
So, if you’re feeling overwhelmed and stressed, I recommend getting out of the city, even if it’s just for a hour or two.
Stay positive, stay safe, and spread the gospel.
The Lord is my strength and my song; he has given me victory. This is my God, and I will praise him— my father’s God, and I will exalt him! – Exodus 15:2
