Happy Friday! I hope you had a great Thanksgiving! I sure did!
It’s been awhile since I actually enjoyed Thanksgiving, and that’s because of that fact that I can’t get into most people’s homes. Well, that was not the case for yesterday.
We were going to one of my mom’s friends house for Thanksgiving, but we wanted to made sure that there was no threshold; we already knew that there weren’t any stairs.
Anyway, when my mom and I arrived, everyone welcomed us with open arms. The best part was that people included me in their conversations.
For the past several years when we’ve gone to someone else’s house, I’ve always been left out of conversations.
Let me tell you, when you have someone to talk to, it makes time fly by!
One of our friends brought a game called “Codenames,” and it was so much fun learning how to play it. The first round was very confusing because the cards were upside down, but my partner and I won anyway!
If you’ve never played this game before, I highly recommend it for any time of the year!
Normally, when it comes to eating Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner, I usually can’t eat a whole lot, if anything, because of my special diet.
But this time, I had quite a few options, and let me tell you, everything on my plate was delicious!
So suffice to say, yesterday’s Thanksgiving was one of the best one’s I’ve had in awhile!
Have a great weekend! Stay positive, stay safe, and spread the gospel.
The Lord is my strength and my song; he has given me victory. This is my God, and I will praise him— my father’s God, and I will exalt him! – Exodus 15:2
