Happy Friday!
I was looking for some videos on YouTube, and that’s when I came upon this video:
Honestly, before I saw this that video I wasn’t even going to mention it.
Why? Well I don’t celebrate Halloween, and I know many people who think that the holiday is harmless.
I know what it’s like to feel left out on this holiday, and I also know what it’s like to go out on Halloween.
Both of my parents are divorced, so I went back and forth between them. One parent was against the holiday, and the other one was totally fine with it.
Then one night, I decided to ask God for something to show me if I should celebrate it or not. Let’s just say I got my answer, and no matter who’s house I was at I didn’t celebrate. To this day I still don’t partake in this holiday.
For those who celebrate or participate on Halloween, I ask you to please watch these videos about Halloween. Then after watching them, consider asking God for a sigh or something, to determine if God wants you to celebrate/participate on Halloween.
If you want to learn more about the origin of Halloween, look up James L. Melton’s article: “THE ORIGIN OF HALLOWEEN,” or you can search what happens on Halloween on YouTube.
Have a great weekend! Stay safe, stay positive, and spread the gospel.
The Lord is my strength and my song; he has given me victory. This is my God, and I will praise him— my father’s God, and I will exalt him! – Exodus 15:2
