Reconnecting with a friend

Sorry that this post is late; I was in a place where I couldn’t get a signal.

When I was in elementary school, I had the best friend anyone could ever have. I mean we did almost everything together, but then her and her family moved out of state.

Well ever since they moved, I’ve always wanted to get in touch with them again. Being disabled, you don’t really have many best friends.

Because when you’re in wheelchair, it can be very difficult to get into places, therefore, most people don’t invite you to hang out with them.

Anyway – I’ve been trying for several years to get in touch with them, and was finally able to yesterday. When I realized that I finally had a chance to reconnect with them, I was so excited, happy, and nervous.

A million different questions popped into my mind, would they want to reconnect? Would they remember me? Could we become best friends again.

When it was time to reach out, I was nervous because I hadn’t talked to them since they moved away. But I didn’t have anything to worry about, because it went as well as it could’ve.

As of right now, they’re not ready to reconnect yet, and that’s okay because some people just need time.

Stay positive, stay safe, and spread the gospel.

The Lord is my strength and my song; he has given me victory. This is my God, and I will praise him—  my father’s God, and I will exalt him! – Exodus 15:2
