Hey everyone, happy Friday!
I wanted to take a moment to say a prayer for the innocent lives in Afghanistan: Dear God, please help those people who have helped the United States and those who want to get out of the country, in Jesus’ name, amen.
I wanted to say that I could’ve wrote the whole title of the movie, but I figured it would be too long.
Anyway, I wanted to talk about the true meaning behind “The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe.”
So, I actually grew up watching the series, but the movie that I’m most familiar with is the one above ^: mostly because it was always on.
So, part of the movie is based on Christ’s crucifixion. In the movie, Aslan traded his life for Edmund, and later that night: Aslan is tied up, shaved, killed, and later came back from the dead.
This is just like what Christ went through. He sacrificed his life for our sins, he had to carry a cross, he was stripped, tied to the cross, died and came back to life.
Stay positive, and spread the gospel.
The Lord is my strength and my song; he has given me victory. This is my God, and I will praise him— my father’s God, and I will exalt him! – Exodus 15:2
