People who are trying to be supportive, can be detrimental instead.

Hey everyone, I hope you had a good day. Sorry that this late, I had a hard time finding the right words.

On Saturday, my mom and I decided to go to a new church. It just happened that the church was starting a new series that day. Thank you, God!

In the Bible, there’s a story about four friends who are determined to help their paralytic friend get to Jesus, so he could be heeled.

At the end of the message, one of the church staff came up to us and asked if they could pray for me. I hesitantly said yes, and one thing that they prayed for was that I could be heeled from my disability.

I get why they said that, but almost every time someone prays for me, they pray for healing.

That is something that really bothers me, because I don’t need heeling. God has put me in this situation for a reason.

While it may seem like I’m suffering, I promise I’m thriving! While we may not see it, sometimes the people who are right in front of us are the ones that need prayers for healing.

Please watch this Dhar Mann video as it gives a glimpse into my life.

So you see, we’re not completely helpless, we don’t always need help, and most importantly: please don’t help us unless we ask for it.

Stay positive and spread the gospel.

The Lord is my strength and my song; he has given me victory. This is my God, and I will praise him—  my father’s God, and I will exalt him! – Exodus 15:2
