Only human

Hey everyone, I hope you had a good week.

Being a celebrity can be extremely difficult; I wouldn’t know this personally, but from what I’ve seen and heard I can only imagine.

I believe that the most important thing to remember when it comes to celebrities is this: they’re only human just like the rest of us. Unfortunately, they get criticized everyday, and that can impact their lives. Everyone has something going on in lives: whether it’s about your health or your body.

Everyone is different in their own unique way, but it’s not okay to criticize or bully people because of it. I believe that at some point in our lives we get picked on, and that’s not okay. If you’ve ever been bullied than imagine what it’s like to be a celebrity; or maybe you’re going through that without being in the spotlight.

What I’m trying to say is that, no one should be criticizing people. I think that we automatically assume that celebrities are perfect because they’re famous. In reality, they go through the same things we do.

Instead of supporting each other we tear people down, due to their health, beliefs, and the way they look. I found this article and as I was reading it, I felt the Holy Spirit telling me to share it with you. Although it was written a little more than a year ago; I feel like it hits home in some aspects. Don’t feel like you have to read it; I just wanted to include it, because it goes more in depth than what I’ve written.

I wanted to mention one more thing; some or all of celebrities have some type of health problem, and sometimes they are able to break free of them just like us. So please don’t body shame or cut them down in any other way, as it can cause some serious issues. Here’s a few examples: Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, and Demi Lavato.

Here’s a great example of tearing people down:

I named the title of this post “Only Human” so I could include a song with it; feel free to listen to it:

Until next time, stay positive.

The Lord is my strength and my song; he has given me victory. This is my God, and I will praise him—  my father’s God, and I will exalt him! – Exodus 15:2
