Hello everyone, and welcome back to my blog. I hope everyone had a good weekend, I know I did.
Ok so on Tuesday, my mom and I took a little vacation up in the mountains. The next day, we decided to go shopping after we ate breakfast.
We found a little shop, and when we entered I automatically felt the atmosphere change. While I was looking at the jewelry; I felt uncomfortable because I could tell that the shop owners were silently judging me.
The reason why I felt that way, was because in my experience most people automatically assume that when you have a disability you can’t talk or think for yourself.
So I found a couple pairs of jewelry – one of which was a crystal necklace – that I liked, and I asked them how much they cost. When I asked them I could tell that I surprised them, I told them that I like rocks and crystals. I hope that I made an impact on them.
So that’s what happened on Wednesday; but I don’t mind as long as I educate people.
As I said in my introduction post, feel free to request movies, TV shows, and books for me to watch or read, and I’ll also write a short review on them.
I will now write a short review of the movie “The Outcasts” on Netflix.
“The Outcasts” reminds me of “Mean Girls,” but they’re a little different from each other.
Quick question: have you ever been bullied by the popular crowd? If you have, or you like the “Mean Girls” series then this is the movie for you.
This movie is a about two best friends in high school who happen to be nerds (I know it’s ironic right). They try to reconcile with Miss popularity, but end up leading a “nerd uprising” causing the social rankings to completely flip. The two main characters: Jodi played by (Victoria Justice) and Mindy played by (Eden Sher).
I love the cast of the movie, the plot is awesome, and there are some plot twists that I didn’t see coming.
I will now rate the movie out of five. One being the worst, and five being the best. I give this movie a 4 out of five. I highly recommend “The Outcasts,” but viewer discretion is advised. The movie is rated TV-14 because of language.
I don’t know about you guys, but one thing that really bothers me is when you’re listening to a song and you realize it’s on repeat. Ugh, it’s so annoying.
